Has been an ocean

Tides that carry you-

Carry you out to places you don’t want

There’s the times

When it plateaus like a calm,

Dead sea

Then something calm

Gives complications

Sometimes I’m just out

Almost out of the ocean

Then low tide comes

It pulls me back out

To the unpredictable ocean
